"James has taken the time to get to know Diablo and Charlie individually and
they absolutely adore him.

He knows all their little quirks and makes sure he spends time during their walks doing things that they enjoy - lots of stick throwing for Charlie and meeting other dogs like Diablo. They always return home suitably happy and relaxed.

Throughout our year with James he has been totally reliable. He has a key to our house and recently
was even able to house sit whilst I was away - much better than kennels.

James is caring & attentive and, from time to time, sends me photos and videos of the dogs.

I would recommend James to any dog owner...
but more importantly, Diablo & Charlie would too."

TN17 Dog Walking

I pride myself on being a responsible dog walker and every dog under my care gets my full attention. Although
my insurance allows me to walk up to 6 dogs, I prefer a maximum of 4. I am very careful about introducing new dogs to a group, taking into consideration how different sizes and personalities combine. Some dogs can be
more high energy and boisterous, enjoying a lot of running and playing, while others prefer a more ‘slow trot
and sniff’ style outing!

Dog WalkingI am the proud owner of Breezy, my 4yr old chocolate Labrador (left). She
comes on most of my walks and is incredibly friendly - I am yet to meet the
dog which doesn't enjoy having a run around with her.

All walks are 1 hour minimum (not including travel time) so sometimes your
four legged friend maybe out of the house for up to an hour and a half,
either getting some exercise and fresh air in the Kent countryside, or
watching the world go by from the air conditioned, custom fitted TN17 Dog
Walking van.

Being based near Rolvenden, I am lucky to be close to both Hempstead and
Bedgebury forest but, more often, I prefer to go off the beaten path and
find quieter walks, sometimes through fields, woodlands or forests, so your
dog will have plenty of room to run about. At the end of each walk, where
possible, I will towel/rinse off your dog before returning them home.

For insurance purposes, I will require written permission for your dog to be
let off the lead. But I am, of course, more than happy to keep them on the
lead at all times as well.

I will come to your house for an initial consultation so I can meet you, and of
course, your dog. This is a very important part of my service because it gives
me a chance to gauge their personality and temperament.

Then after a necessary, but small amount of form filling, I will take your dog
out for a solo walk to get them used to my voice, making sure they have
good recall and that I am confident they will mix well with other dogs.

ANIMAL WELFARE
I recently passed an animal welfare course with Pet First Aid -
training that taught me the skills needed to care for an injured
pet in an emergency situation until the arrival of a vet.

MY RATES
I charge £12 per hour. For households with multiple dogs please contact me as rates may vary
dependant upon breed, size etc.

TN17 Dog Walking generally covers Rolvenden, Benenden, Tenterden, Cranbrook, Sissinghurst, Goudhurst, Sandhurst and Hawkhurst.
